These terms and conditions govern your use of soho Lifestyle's services, including dining, bar, events, private hire and online bookings. By visiting our venue or making a reservation, you agree to be bound by these terms. Please read them carefully.
soho Lifestyle is operated from 7 Church Street, Christchurch, Dorset, BH23 1BW. You can contact us at bookings@soholifestyle.co.uk or by telephone on +44 (1) 202 496140.
Reservations can be made online via our booking system, by telephone, or by email. A reservation is only confirmed once you have received written or verbal confirmation from us.
We hold reserved tables for up to 15 minutes past the booked time. After this, we reserve the right to release the table. If you are running late, please contact us as soon as possible.
For parties of 10 or more, a pre-order or deposit may be required to secure your booking. Details will be confirmed at the time of reservation.
We ask for at least 24 hours' notice for cancellations or amendments. For large party bookings or private hire arrangements, a longer cancellation period may apply and will be specified in your booking confirmation.
Where a deposit has been taken, cancellations made with less than 48 hours' notice may result in forfeiture of that deposit. We will always try to be reasonable where circumstances are beyond your control.
Our restaurant and bar areas welcome guests of all ages during dining hours. Our nightclub is strictly over 21s only. Valid government-issued photo identification (passport or driving licence) is required for entry on Friday and Saturday evenings and at all late-night events.
We operate a Challenge 25 policy. Any guest who appears to be under 25 may be asked to provide valid photo ID before being served alcohol. We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone who cannot prove they are of legal drinking age.
We accept no liability for any person who provides false identification to gain entry or obtain alcohol.
Smart casual attire is required for dining. For nightclub entry on Friday and Saturday evenings we ask guests to dress to impress. The following items are not permitted: sportswear, tracksuits, hoodies, caps, flip-flops, or work boots. We reserve the right to refuse entry at our discretion.
We expect all guests to behave in a respectful manner towards our staff and fellow guests. We operate a zero-tolerance policy towards abusive, threatening, or discriminatory behaviour. We reserve the right to refuse service or ask any guest to leave the premises at any time, without refund, if their conduct is deemed unacceptable.
In accordance with the Licensing Act 2003, we are legally required to refuse service of alcohol to any person who appears to be drunk. Management decisions on this matter are final.
We take food allergies and intolerances seriously. Our menus include information on the 14 major allergens. If you have any dietary requirements or allergies, please inform us at the time of booking and again when ordering. While we take every care, our kitchen handles allergens and we cannot guarantee a completely allergen-free environment.
Guests with severe allergies should assess their own risk. soho Lifestyle accepts no liability for any adverse reaction suffered where the allergen information has been provided and the guest has failed to declare their allergy.
All prices are inclusive of VAT at the current rate. Menus and prices are subject to change without notice. We reserve the right to substitute items if a dish or ingredient is unavailable.
A discretionary service charge may be added to your bill for parties of 8 or more. This is distributed in full to our team.
Private hire and function bookings are subject to a separate written agreement which will be provided at the time of enquiry. The terms of that agreement take precedence over these general terms where they differ.
Deposits paid for private hire are non-refundable unless we are unable to fulfil the booking through no fault of the guest.
Entry to ticketed events is subject to the terms and conditions of the individual event. Where events are advertised as free entry, soho Lifestyle reserves the right to introduce entry restrictions at any time. Event listings, performers, and timings are subject to change.
